The Altar Guild cares for the Altar and Pulpit, prepares the Quarterly Conference reports and trains the Acolytes. Acolytes are youth members between 7 and 14 years of age. The Altar Guild duties and responsibilities include:

• Holding workshops for the Acolytes
• Preparing of Psalms for Psalm Sunday
• Cleaning of the Cross, Bible and candle holders, and Candle holders on the Altar

Acolytes are assigned duty each Sunday. Their responsibilities include:

• Helping pass the microphones to the Ushers to welcome visitors
• Assisting with the collection of the offering
• Starting the morning service every Sunday by lighting the candles at 10:45 a.m.
